lol Definitely seen a lot of videos of broken solos not too many studios though. In real person the only studio I saw snapped was at a best buy near me, but every display model there is usually halfway broken there :p My cousin and coworker have had their studios for over a year with no issues. Regardless at $80 I couldn't pass it up. It was definitely a form over function kind of purchase, but were on MR anyways, most purchases fall in that category on this thread :D

Note that it doesn't say "The iTunes Music Store is being updated." That's a pretty clear sign to me that not only are they going to add movies, it's also now just going to be the iTunes Store.

How do you feel about being tracked and information stored without your knowledge? Oh wait, it's ok, Uncle Stevie knows what's best.
Why would I really care, either way? What am I doing (or what's anyone doing) that is really *that* interesting to "big brother"? As long as no one messes with my credit (note: *all* of your creditors can access your credit record at any time, as well as bill collectors) it makes no difference.
Of course, if you just murdered someone or knocked off a bank, you might have cause for concern.

wlh99, let me tell you precisely what I want to achieve, so there is no more confusion.
Two views;
View 1 is the ticker and a button underneath (button start.
View 2 is display (label) with the timer running and a button underneath (button Cancel)
Button Cancel will have two maybe three funtions ( stop the timer, reset it or just reset it at once and call View1 so the user can reuse the timer over again. That's it, I want to add that function to my App for 1.1 or it could be 1.4 if don't get to study now hahaa.
I'll take care of the alarms, sounds and those details if it reaches to zero, that I know already.
By the way, what's with 3rd person reference? the OP? you can call me Nekbeth or Chrystian, it's a lot more polite. Maybe you guys have a way to refer to someone , I don't know.

Realistically how often have you needed to go into regedit to alter the registry. At my company they restrict access to the registry and it has not impacted my users one bit...
That's not the point. the bad thing about Registry is that it even exits. What a dumb design to have a single file that multiple different applications can access. It tightly couple things that should be 100% independent. Every other OS works hard to avoid this problem. It should be the case that even an intensionally malicious program can effect the operation of another program. Windows works only because you work hard to keep intensionally malicious software off the computer. This effort should not be required
What I'd like to see in Lion is not only the cosmetic changes to the user interface that everyone talks about but a big change to say the security model to for example implement discretionary access controls in a way the both works and is easy for the user to understand. Something like that could even prevent most Trojan horses from doing damage. What about a cryptographic file system? Of a file system that looks more like an iPhoto or Aperture library than a tree? What about building the entire OS using a compiler that automatically parallelizes code at a fine scale? Lots of things could do. But maybe those are still 10 years away?

We should add left handed history ahead of gay history, before you bash me, let me explain.
Left handed people are constantly shamed by language, the word sinister comes from a Latin word originally left, how does it feel to know that language thinks you are evil? Dexter comes from Latin for right and implies manual skill, left handed people are evil and right handed is skilled, aint life grand? Even the word ambidexterity hurts them, it while meaning skilled with both hands means you have two right hands.
In English and other European languages the word right doubles for correct, proper, even justice! In ancient Middle Eastern languages left mean evil. In Chinese left implies improper and even immoral! We have a world hating left handed people!
In modern society left handed people need to bring their own special tools because society designs only for right handed and doesn't give a damn about left handed people to the point where lefties get gouged. They're even screwed over with computer mice and keyboards!
In many Eastern countries left handers are brutally forced to switch to their right hand which can screw them up mentally for life. I'll be a little bummed if this turns out to be the iPhone 5, especially with no resolution bump. I don't mean I'll be upset with slightly less ppi, but I would like to have a little more screen space instead of just a barely enlarged one.
I'll have to see what Apple has in store for iOS 5. If it's worth it I'll get another iPhone, if not maybe I'll check out the Pre 3.
As a developer, this will be pain in the ass!

Already replied to this, so take the time to read the rest of the posts. But to answer once more... I will take my PC to his house install there, mess with it and reformat once i take it home some days later. Like many use the same Windows install for more then one PC.
This is a way to get around having to get a new copy of osx, because the law alows this where i live. But i'm not completely sure and will try to get more information on this.
Just wish people would reply and try to help or explain, instead of immediatly trashing me... I'm trying to do the right thing, and if i have to buy th OS then I will. The reason is just to try OS X on a PC and for the sake of the apple experience.
But hey, know you're all apple fanboys in here so maybe i should just go somewhere where people dont trash you for nothing...

Unless you're a corporation who purchased a volume license, using the same Windows install on multiple machines is illegal too, btw.

iPhone 4's are everywhere here in CA. They used to be unique, now the only comment is... "oh you have the one with a bad antenna."
I get that from time to time and my response is that I actually get better reception than any phone I've owned (Sony Ericssons included). Antenna-gate is a complete non issue for me.

I have to pay for new Lion? to upgrade
This is just a release for developers to test, you can get it via paying $99 for a Developer account at Developer.apple.com. It is full of bugs and other problems though. Unless you are a developer you probably won't want it right now.
When Apple releases Lion to everyone else it will be a paid upgrade. It will probably be out later this year as the pace it is moving.
