A way to estimate ROW 485 applications
Since ROW 485's are approved rather quickly, the small number of pending cases from the USCIS report does not reflect the whole picture how many ROW 485's are submitted each year. However, we may be able to estimate like this:
First find out the average processing time of ROW 485, then we know the pending number from USCIS report is the cases submitted for the length of the processing time. For example, if the processing time is 3 months, and there are 7000 cases for ROW pending, then we know there are 7000 ROW 485 submitted in 3 months. Then the full year demand is 28000. Maybe the report can be revised with these information to get a better estimate on the spillover?

i dont know if the above is true only for consultancies?
i work in a big software corp and never heard of any queries at all?
approved 140, file 485, wait for 180 days, change jobs, no queries at all (irrespective of whether you change jobs or not)

May Visa Bulletin is out. EB3 ROW and Philippines seem to have moved by 1 year.
Even bigger news is that "Other Workers" have become Unavailable for the whole world.
It furthers strengthens the theory that good number of 245i's are EW category and not in the regular EB3 category.
This hypothesis is further supported by the fact that all EB3 dates have been sustained above May 1st for a few months now.

This is what you can do - Both in Mumbai and in Delhi, you have USCIS approved doctors who help people going through CP. In other words those who choose to go through emp based CP or family based Green Card which US embassy issues, go through Indian hospitals in Mumbai and Delhi. I got LUDs on 2/10 on both mine and my wife's 485. My wife got an RFE email on 02/13. I do not know what this means either...
Looks like lot of EB-3 applications who filed 485 at the end of june got LUDs last week, some with RFE and some just soft LUD.

Contact your attorney ASAP and ask him to try to have a good write up and send the application again, who knows USCIS might accept your application (worst case ur app will come back again), but make it fast dont delay anymore.

So many desi shops or Amricaan shops do outplacement and pay competitive saalaries and have nothing to do with outsourcing. CIBER and Ajilon are huge outplacement companies, but very rarely indulgein visa gouging as they deal only with transfers and involve in transfers only after client agrees to hire the consultant
